Has anyone had any combat related issues?

Did your injury have any because of abuse or a fight that you may have got in? I’m very sorry if anyone has been through any kind of abuse of some soft. If you don’t feel comfortable sharing, it’s ok. I understand.

Did anyone have a car accident or accident of some sort? I personally slept on black ice while driving to school at 7:20 in the morning. How are they similar stories out there?

Who had their injury playing sports? What sport and how did it happen?

Over-the-counter pain relievers such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen can help alleviate headaches. Staying hydrated and practicing good posture can also help prevent headaches. If headaches persist, it’s important to consult with a healthcare provider.

Don’t worry about it too much. Have patience with yourself. It will get better.

I do sympathize with you. I had a lot of that happening but it gets better with time.

Multitasking is out of the question! If I’m painting a room with someone, it’s very hard for me to have a conversation with a coworker and keep moving at the same time! Haha you’re definitely not alone!

My memory is horrible. Namely, my short-term memory I had ADD before the accident but it got worse after.

Wow! That’s really something. I wouldn’t drink alcohol if I were you. Have you tried looking into talking to a functional nutritionist or taking CBD drops under your tongue a few times per day? I take Lamictal for seizure.

Such as long and short-term memory, and perspective memory.

I had Attention Deficit Disorder before my TBI so my memory and my ability to learn was already impaired but my TBI made them so much worse.My ability to reason had gone to zero. It was like I was always confused. Part of that confusion was due to my emotional issues, however.

So I found out I was having seizures 10 years after I had a brain injury. I remember a few occasions where I could’ve possibly had a seizure. Anyone else?

Such as absence, petit-mal and grand-mal seizures.

including depression, anxiety, mood swings, and irritability.

including difficulty with social situations, relationships, self-control, and aggression

such as trouble talking, reading, writing, and explaining feelings or thoughts

such as double vision, a bitter taste in the mouth or loss of the sense of taste, ringing in the ears, and tingling or pain

False alarm, I forgot that I had taken a sleeping pill and it was too strong for me(I took too much).

Whenever I disrupt my sleep by going to bed late and sleeping too long, the next day I get panic attacks and euphoric sight like I’m in another dimension or something. I dont know how else to explain it. My head also feels weak and I have a slight headache.

Has anyone ever experienced this? If so, what is going on? What is it?
